After completing his degree from Monash University, Scott began his recruitment career in 2000 with at the time, Australia’s oldest IT&T recruitment company. Since then Scott joined the likes of TMP/Hudson and Hays (UK) and has worked in numerous positions as his client’s needs and market conditions changed over time. Scott entered the Customer Contact portfolio in 2002 and quickly gained a reputation as a dedicated professional, committed to ensuring desired business outcomes and with the highest degree of integrity. Scott’s ability to quickly grasp client’s business drivers and goals ensured long standing loyalty and commitment from his clients and in return gave a total dedication to ensure that clients’ needs and wants were met. Scott’s mantra of honesty, commitment and integrity was also felt by candidates and in a highly competitive market with demanding clients requiring critical deadlines were met, Scott was able to form strong binding relationships with all parties to ensure the goals and outcomes needed from all were met. At one point Scott ran volume recruitment and assessment teams across Victoria and Tasmania for leading Banking / Financial Services and Telecommunications clients (customer contact and banking) and in doing so gained a detailed understanding of customer contact industry needs at grass roots level.
Scott dedicated to broaden his outlook and exposure and carved out a successful career with a global recruitment plc. (Hays) where he focussed on key account manager of Tier 1 clients (ensuring recruitment teams delivered to SLAs), securing and retaining business via numerous Recruitment Process Outsourcing RPO clients as well as leading a team of solution sales experts offering a range of HR outsourcing products and services. Scott knows the challenges facing clients obtaining the best talent and he was also assigned the task of running a dedicated global talent attraction team whose mantra was to attract A grade candidates from around the world into London elite banking client’s vacancies. This experience will prove to be invaluable as the Australian markets continues to struggle to meet its increasing demand for exceptional customer contact professionals.
Upon his return to Australia, Scott too returned to the Customer Contact sector and has completed over 30 permanent and contract assignments across Australia & New Zealand.
